Coming 'Round The Mountain - Austria vs Germany 1:2 (Post Scriptum)

Last holidays with my family in Austria.
I was back in the 90ties yesterday: Germany won 2:1 scoring in the last minute (set piece goal), and you neither understand how nor why the Germans won.

The brave Austrians came down from their mountains like Andreas Hofer attacking the French Empire in the year dot, they were much more agile and energetic throughout the whole match, only lacking determination (and some technical abilities) on the last 15 yards. Andreas Hofer was shot eventually.

Germany is almost qualified now - and hard times for Austria. By the way: last time Austria defeated Germany was 25 years ago, the Ernst-Happel-Stadium was called something else back then.

Next Tuesday the German national team is about to meet Azerbaijan, coached by former national team coach Berti Vogts, dwelling there in exile.
